Turf Removal Rebate

Glendale Water & Power Cash-for-Lawn Rebate Programs

How Lawn Replacement Saves You Money!

We all want to be water wise and do our part to help the Glendale community, and the GWP is making it an easy choice by offering financial intensives to get rid of water-guzzling grass!

Through the Municipal Water District of Southern California, Glendale is offering residents $2.00 per square foot for replacing turf grass with water conscious gardens and drought tolerant landscaping.

There are other ways that replacing your lawn saves money. Eco-friendly gardens typically reduce 80% on your water bill, not to mention the deceased time & labor for maintenance.

The curb appeal of a modern, water-wise landscape also increases home value. The President of the National Association of Realtors pointed out, “Even homeowners with no immediate plans to sell can gain more enjoyment and satisfaction from their home by taking on a project to revive their outdoor spaces.”
